What does yellow smell like?
I have a good friend who does not even use a calculator because she has an immense dislike of numbers.
She does not think in terms of anything “logical” such as numbers. She thinks in terms of shapes and colours - her own explanation.
That reminds me of a game I used to play with my children when they were very young and a long trip would become a bore for them. I would ask them questions such as:
what does yellow smell like?,
what does red taste like?;
what does an apple sound like?;
what does (a popular song) look like?;
what does laughter feel like when touched?
Ridiculous? You bet! Fun? You bet! Creative? You bet!
