Don’t let your life end in a draw
For years I have been making notes of all kinds of information, quotations and wisdom which I peruse from time to time just to “loosen my mind” (one of my many favourite phrases).
This morning I came across this one: “They were married for 50 years without once fighting. In the end, the marriage ended in a draw”.
I have no idea where I got the inspiration or insight to write something like that!
I guess it could mean that we should sometimes question the status quo, sometimes we should talk back at stupid bosses, sometimes we should tell our peers that we will walk the road alone because we don’t agree with them and sometimes we should fight.
If for no other reason than to make sure our lives do not end in a draw.
